Jesus said " A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it and found none. Then he said to the keeper of his vineyard, "Look for 3 years I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree and find none. Cut it down; ...." But he answered, "Sir let it alone this year also, until I dig around it and fertilize it. And if it bears fruit, well. But if not, after that you can cut it down."
Let's heed the warning that Jesus Himself gives.
Have a listen and see if you might just be a little too comfortable? And even if your not its a good challenge to keep putting your faith in God and what He has purposed for you to do.
The promises we have from God are incredible and are available to all who will just put their faith in Jesus Christ. To even read things that have come to pass but where written thousands of years ago, only God could do that! Believe and be saved!
How many excuses can you put before God? Jesus addressed these issues and made it clear that we have a choice to make. The invitation is now, but will you take up the most precious invitation ever given to mankind? Listen and hear what excuses people have, but Jesus said "Come, for all things are now ready", will you?
God loves us so much more than we can ever imagine, just look at the price that was paid to bring us into a right relationship with God.
Take a look at one of the great men of faith Elijah and see how you can be encouraged to live godly lives even in an ungodly culture. If it doesn't line up with God's Word then we don't need to accept it.
Well how confident are you in God? Just have a look at Elijah and what he was against at Mt Carmel. What he did was have ALL his confidence in the God he serves, that God can deliver no matter how many are against you. You have to love these great men of faith, what an example for us.
What a great man of God was Elijah. As we look at the life of Elijah we can learn so much. He grew in his faith as he learned to trust God in all circumstances. Have a listen and see what you can learn from this prophet of God.
Well haven't we been enjoying looking at Elijah and what an example of faith is he! He had faith in his God no matter what his environment was, he totally trusted in God and as always his faith effected those around him. Have a look at Elijah and be challenged to be steadfast in God no matter what is going on. Our confidence in our God and He will sustain us through it all.
How good is it to look at the great men of faith! Elijah is a great example of putting your trust in God even at great peril of his own life. And we can learn a lot from this great prophet of God. Faith is what we need, and he had great faith! Lets be like Elijah, and have great faith so we may do great things for God in these dark times. Have a listen and be encouraged in your faith to stand on God's Word even if its not popular to do so. Great faith, lets have some.
Well where does your church stand? Is it pleasing men, or standing on what the bible has to say on issues. Sound doctrine has to be taught so we know what is right and what is wrong before God. The Laodicean Church was neither hot nor cold, meaning they would not stand up and say what was biblical right. Have a listen and weigh up where your church is sitting, especially in today's political climate.
How important it is to be in a Church that actually stands on God's Word. If what is being preached is a compromise to please man, like the Laodicean's, a luke warm church, then you don't need to be there. The Laodicean Church wouldn't stand up and say what is correct according to God's Word but stays quiet or even goes along with the political tide of the day, even if it goes against scripture. Make sure your church stands in the truth according to the bible.
Talk about good news! Have a listen to this and you will be in awe of what God has prepared for all those who have put their faith in Jesus Christ. HEAVEN IS A REAL PLACE where God abides and it will be more than we could ever imagine.
What do you know about Heaven? Well if you have some questions that need answering maybe this will be helpful as we look at scripture to find out. This is just part one, so next week we will be able to hear more about this place we will abode for eternity. How exciting to look at where we end up for those who have faith in Jesus Christ and Him alone !
Justice, mercy and faith are the core being of a believers way of life, as Jesus Himself instructs us to live by these! Have a listen to how Jesus addressed the leaders of the day with how they were behaving and maybe a challenge to check how we are conducting ourselves in everyday life.
Church the Devils playground. How is your church going? What is a healthy church? How should we conduct ourselves in church? Well have a listen to this sermon and check out the scriptures used and see what you think! A very challenging and revealing word on the "Church" today.
But even if you should suffer for righteousness sake, YOU ARE BLESSED.
Check out what God has to say on suffering for righteousness sake. 1 Peter 13-17
VILE PASSIONS! In these days where it seems anything goes, it's where morality is all but gone and immorality is sweeping across out communities and country and without much opposition. GOD'S WORD is ABSOLUTE and shows us WHAT IS MORAL and WHAT IS IMMORAL. Always going to be your choice. But be careful what you choose because this life here and what you choose now has an eternal outcome.
Looking back and not forward could be costly, have a listen to this sermon "The Lot's Wife Syndrome" and see what you think.
