There is only one God who exists eternally and He is the creator of all things and is self existent, all powerful, all knowing and accomplishes all according to His will. He is infinite in power, wisdom, holiness and love. As revealed in scripture as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. 1 John 5:7-8 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
Jesus Christ as the second Person of the Godhead, God the Son, is equal with God and will come again in all His power and glory to judge the living and the dead. Conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin, He walked as fully God, and fully man. Was sinless and willingly went to the cross as an atonement for the sin of all mankind as a once and for all sacrifice. He is now seated at the right hand of God. 1 John 4:14-15 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world. Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him , and he in God.
The Bible is infallible, inerrant Word of God. It is divinely inspired and given for our instruction on how we shall live. It reveals the character of God and His will for our lives. It is our source of reference in everything we do. The Word of God has the power to change a persons eternal destination. John 17:17 Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.
By the grace of God salvation is offered to all mankind through faith in Jesus Christ. Through Jesus Christ's sacrificial death on the cross and resurrection from the dead bore the punishment of our sin and made a way for all mankind to be reconciled with God. No good works can save us, only faith in Jesus and Him alone. The Holy Spirit convicts us of our sin, and when we turn to Jesus we receive the free gift of eternal life. Upon our confession of faith God gives us His Holy Spirit which seals us, guides us and helps us until we go to glory. Romans 10:9 That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
Baptism is for those who have put their faith in Jesus Christ and is a full water immersion, unless unable to do so. Baptism does not save a person, it is symbolic of Christ's death and resurrection for the believer. This is an outward declaration of one's faith in Jesus Christ being Lord and Savior. 1 Peter 3:21 There is also an antitype which now saves us -baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) through the resurrection of Jesus Christ , who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, angels and authorities and powers having been made subject to Him.
Heaven is a real place that upon a believer taking his or her last breath here on earth is then instantly in the presence of God. 2 Corinthians 5:8 We are confident, yes well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.
Just as Heaven is a real place, so HELL is a real place and we don't want anyone to go there. A place of eternal torment for all who do not have faith in Jesus Christ. The Old Testament alludes to Hell but it is really Jesus’ teaching in the New Testament that gives a clearer picture of its reality. Jesus taught more about Hell than He did about Heaven. While their are those who deny its existence (much to their own peril) it is made very clear in GOD'S WORD that is a real place therefore we know it to be true. Matthew 25:46 " And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” If you have not put your faith in Jesus Christ and Him alone we urge you to consider to seek God with all your heart and ask Him to reveal the Truth to you before this day ends as we do not know the day or the hour our life will be required of us.
